River at dusk in Latvia

Energy zones

Water veins, fire veins, faults and springs

Zones of radiation directed toward the surface. We draw their width and position so the house, the bed and the well are not placed at random.

Negatively charged

Water veins

Shallow groundwater threads. Useful for a well, unwelcome under a bed.

Positively charged

Fire veins

Narrower bands, not related to fire as such. Chimneys were sometimes set on their crossings; beds were not.

Rock structure

Faults

Projections of tectonic breaks — strips where field parameters differ from the surroundings.

Circular zones

Springs

Vertical upflow near a vein centre, typically a circle tens of centimetres across. Check springs when you move a bed.
